~*My Story*~

My name is Emily, I am 22 and I am a momma to a wonderful lil boy named Caden who is 4 1/2 years old.I was 16 when I found out I was pregnant, I was terrified that my whole family was going to disown me, but to my suprise my family supported me 100% and everyone was there for me while I was pregnant, except for the one person that should have been...my son's father, Brett. he left me when i was 3 months pregnant, claiming that he wasn't ready to be a father. hello!?!?and I was ready to be a mom?!?I was 16! I had a very stressful pregnancy and alsmost lost my son because Brett and his family harrassed me through out my whole pregnancy. I didn't hear anything from Brett himself till I was about 4 weeks from my due date and then he started calling and e-mailing me begging me to let him be in "his" son's life, funny how he wanted nothing to do with me and the baby wasn't his until i was almost due and then suddenly it was HIS son.lol.I was induced with my son, I was in labor 22 1/2 hours. Caden Stephen Everett decided to make his appearance into this world on Thursday September 25th, 2003. he weighed 5lbs and was 18 inches long, he had jet black hair and bright blue eyes, he looked more like his "father" than I was willing to admit. Brett saw Caden for the 1st time when he was a week old and he fell to his knees at my house and started crying and appologizing, it was so pathetic. he saw him everyday for the 1st two weeks and then i told him he couldn't see him anymore because he came to my house to see my son when he was high and he had friends with him and he wasn't gonna bring that crap around my son. he started seeing him again when he was 3 months old, on and off and then the last straw was when Caden was 5 months old I filed for child support and he was pissed and i called him one day to see what time he was coming to see Caden and he said f**k that kid! I was done and he hasn't seen Caden since he was 5 months old and he is 4 1/2 now. That is really sad on his part because Caden is a great little boy and he is missing out on being a part of his life.Oh well! it's his loss and when Caden grows up to hate him, Brett will have no one to blame but himself for being such a dick. Being a teen mom is not easy by any means, but when I see my son's smiling face, suddenly it is all worth it again. I graduated High School and am currently in College, working on my degree in early childhood education, and I also work full-time as a toddler daycare teacher. I am working very hard to make a good life for my family. I am with a wonderful man named Justin and he is everything to me.Kendall is Justin's son, who we have full custody of his "mother" is horrible and I use that word lightly lol.I did not give birth to him but I am the only mommy he knows and in my heart, he is mine and to me that is what matters most.If anyone has any questions, you can e-mail me at: my2boyzrmylyfe@hotmail.com
